Santos Hernández 1933
This flamenco guitar was handmade by luthier Santos Hernández in 1933.
This guitar maker was the most outstanding disciple of Manuel Ramírez, for whom he worked for 23 years. In 1918 he opened his own workshop on 23 Custom Street, working there until his death in 1943.
Santos Hernández is considered without any doubt one of the best and most important luthiers in the world. Great artists of the time worked with his guitars, such as Ramón Montoya, Andrés Segovia, Sabicas, Niño Ricardo, Regino Sainz de la Maza, Eduardo Abreu among others.
The guitar only has three perfectly repaired cracks in the background.
